The Adaptive Dampening System Module has become a simple modification that many Type R and Type S owners perform to fine-tune their vehicles' suspension feel and performance. The ADS Modules for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type R (FL5) and 2024+ Acura Integra Type S (DE5) are reverse compatible but offer different driving characteristics. The Type R is stiffer for the track, while the Type S is softer for the street. This is a quick, easily reversible modification since these ADS Modules are directly compatible with the other model.
These ADS Modules are genuine Honda products and do not require any additional wiring or changes, nor do their installations in compatible vehicles cause errors.
